The famous Crave Cafe building on Bellevue Rd, Bellevue Hill, is being offered for the first time since 1963. First City’s Julian Hasemer and Brad Caldwell-Eyles have an expressions of interest campaign closing April 4, but aren’t offering a price guide. The strip consists of seven shops, including the cafe, beauty salon, homewares shop, and a florist. With the 12 apartments above, the site attracts annual gross income of $630,000. The pair say it’s attracting a lot of inquiry from investors locally and offshore. Developers, too, are showing interest. “Some are looking to put in apartments for the elderly, because of the access to shops downstairs,” Mr Hasemer said. One day some of these shops could be occupied by doctors or dentists.
